It couldn't hurt. I frankly haven't decided how often to publish Lucy's cartoons or where. Currently I'm leaving her in the driver's seat (dangerous, I know) to see which way she decides to go.
There are bitter salt tears being cried on the Left - not because Stewart was funny (although he frequently was) but because he was considered so smart, sane, and "fair" about the news. For many liberals, there simply is no dividing line between politics and entertainment anymore.
So true. Often, as some on the left thought they were being witty with the tired and old digs at Fox News, I would ponder the irony of them getting their news from The Comedy Channel!
Feel free to comment, but please keep it light. "Lefty Lucy" isn't intended to be as serious as Stilton's other political webcomic "Hope n' Change Cartoons."
If you listen closely, you can almost hear the whiny bitch (Lucy, not Stewart).
ReplyDeleteAnd as everyone in the Jarlsberg family knows, cheese always goes well with a good whine.
DeleteThat would be Jarlsberg Cheese, right?
DeleteOf course!
DeleteLefty Lucy added to my daily check (just in case she doesn't get a link on the right-wing HnC site!)

DeleteIt's astounding how seriously people now take what was formerly known as the show following the crank-calling puppets.
